Hi there
Ive recently been given a Kenwood Tk2140 Radio as part of a swap deal and i know very little about how to work/program or reset anything like this.
Is anybody aware of how to reset the handset to factory settings or basically wipe all frequencies/info already stored on it.
Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated..
Steve

Start the KPG-74D software. Go to Model>Model Information and select the TK-2140 and click OK. Then connect your radio for programming and go to Program>Write to Radio. This will write a blank codeplug to the radio and restore it to factory defaults. The radio should now say UNPROGRAM on the screen when powered on.

Hi Woody, do you have knowledge of all of the Kenwood Handsets? What about Key radios?
