Hi guys, been a while since i have been on.
Im after some help programming a Icom IC-F20 UHF radio.
I have a OPC 478 cable (USB to Single 3.5mm jack) and i have the EX1690 for F10 and F20 series of radio (Ver 1.1)
i am turning the radio on holding the PTT and the P0 button to put into clone mode and then keying up the ptt but the software keeps coming up with clone error, i have tried just powering up the unit not in clone mode and still get the same clone error message
Any ideas???

Re: Icom IC-F10 or IC-F20
Even though there was no answers i will add some closure to this for reference for other users/internet search engines.
I found a old desktop PC that was built for XP at work that we rebuilt for some body that in the end it never got used so it was a fresh build.
Did a install and changed the port numbers via device manager for the USB OPC cable and it worked.
All programmed up now and working so windows 7 must have not liked it.
Hope in the future this is of some assistance to others.
All the best, now on with the next one (Icom IC-M1 Euro V) custom VHF channels as well as the usual marine channels.
Regards
