Certainly is in storage as you say, in the box it looks like it is bullet proof as well!
I do have mine in an original orange Cobra box with its microphone and the MKV manual written by John himself, got that from Cobraworxshopz. But will agree that your storage is a lot better than mine.

You obviously didnt click the link 3 posts above yours  :D

Although i will agree (not that they are rubbish) that they aint worth half of what they are fetching because at the end of the day they are just a hacked up PB010, Give me an original untouched PB010 anyday...Anyway this is going off topic and has been discussed numerous times before.

I'm off too bed now cos im sloshed, prob wont remember typing this tomorrow...night...BURP

I just got one of those off eBay (£18 + £10 p+p). I wanted to dissect it to salvage some crystals, but I've just tried it on air and got a very good radio report? It seems to work well :? I feel guilty about my intentions

I love em Tim. Funny sort of AM-ey quality to the audio (coz they were converted to FM from an older AM unit) If I were you, I'd keep it as a curious fun radio - and pillage parts from something with less charm. ;)
EXTREMELY WEIRD... AVOID AT ALL COSTS !

26CAB40 ... The Mk5 is only rubbish in your opinion, all you ever seem todo is slag stuff off. do you ever have anything positive to say ???

26AC148 ... I recon you must work for Cobraworkshpz, can you really enjoy a radio when it hidden away in a box or are you just hoping the false prices will go even higher ?

Firstly.......... NO i dont work for Cobraworxshopz & if i did does it matter !
Secondly.......... If you read my previous posts i said i have two Mk V Jentecs.......... One that I use .........One that i dont.
Thirdly.........Ive been offered $2000 for my red display MK V.........But the money has no interest to me.

Things are only worth what your willing to pay for them..............If you regard the going price of a Jentec MK V to much that is your opinion but there are many that would just love to own a Jentec MK V
