Zetagi b300p amp

Post by Nitehawk »

HI Guys
When I transmit on FM the relay changes from tx to rx straight away when I transmit on SSB there is a delay between tx to rx is the normal for this amp.
Thankyou in anticipation.

This is normal for this amp Nitehawk ( used a few and still have a B300PS from '84 ),the amp is in ssb mode and waiting for the next piece of audio, after a second of having nothing else to transmit it switches off,as you are not transmitting a constant carrier like Fm.

Someone with more of an understanding of electronics will explain it much better Nitehawk ;)
Plenty are talking worldwide on 27.555 usb,
Some are too far up their own @rse to admit it,
Many happen to know otherwise dx-ing test free,
Showing a complete lack of respect for the law.

Thanks 108EH002 thankyou for your answer, I'll just have to put up, I was reading you can alter the relay time on ssb by changing the value of a capacitor .
