Programming DR 135 DX

Post by radiogaga »

Anyone give me some pointers on the programming of a DR-135DX.

I have the cable and software, which I've downloaded. The software seems to suggest that it's looking for a DR-135CB not DR-135DX.

When I ask the radio to be read it just hangs at Completion Percentage 0% followed by DR_135CB "Check Connection. Retry or Cancel.

The radio is showing PC on the frequency display. I guess it's seeing the radio?

Tried W7 and an older XP system. Tried the baud rate at 9600, 1200 and 57600 all the same.
Software version 3.1.0

FOR DR-135CB RADIO

Surely I need the ....FOR DR-135DX RADIO??????

I know there are loads of posts which suggest there is an issue with radio>software but surely there are serial comes as the radio recognises the PC connection.

Any tricks?

Hi Sam, you need to have the radio in wide band mode if you are putting in both 11 & 10 meter frequencies, also download the latest prolific drivers for the cable. Its been ages since I did mine but I seem to remember these issues.

All sorted now, thanks. Only works by starting software and connecting the radio in a particular order... BIzarre

Thanks for the reply anyway
