But that doesn't mean you can tell us where to post
Shouldn't have to tell anyone where to post Jason . CB posts in CB section . It's that simple.

Getting a bit heated on here guys. Maybe it's the weather, but try not to get too agitated with each other.

Keep it friendly!

best to let sleeping dogs lie.... or boxed Cobras in this case.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and we welcome that diversity. We're all big enough to see things from another perspective and appreciate that we don;t all see the world the same way.

End of the day, you work hard to get the pennies together to indulge in your radio hobby, so buy what you like and like what you buy. To each their own.

Peace, love and good DX 8)

Maybe the blue and red corners need to sit on the fence......and watch the vid of the Cobra 148 with 7MHz/40m inside on the tube of you.Have heard weak signals on a Lincoln (sent to B.Spirit) my mates new fully working 480 sat/and my own couldn't hear on Ssb,As for Yaesu being the best,my mates Cobra 148 (sent to B.Spirit) Grant2/Pacific 160 could hear stuff on Fm his new fully working 857d/FT1200 couldn't,ham gear isn't always the best for Fm as it was designed for 10m Fm on hf sets imo.
You can talk worldwide on CB radio aswell,
rsgb are too far up their own @rses to admit it,
many freebanders just happen to know otherwise.

I would whole heartedly agree that the Stalker 9F-DX is an excellent bit of kit. But the MK2 148's just have that edge over the Stalker.

Being of certain age I've been fortunate to use a brand new 148 snake, Stalker, and 360FM back in the day and in my opinion the Stalker's TX audio on sideband always had the edge on the other two. The only other radio to match the Stalker's audio, again imo, was the Grant. The Stalker was more sensitive on receive than a snake/360 which could be a bit of a problem in busy areas so for this I found the others better. The Stalker more classy looking then the others too so overall for me the Stalker just tips the scale - jmo of course.

The Stalker doesn't drift as much as the 148/360

But I prefer the 148/360 in every other way.

There is no such thing as a Fidelity 1000 which is too good to scrap.
