Hi everyone, I'm getting a Lafayette 805B , does anyone know if you can get the alphas without a kc shift, ie. just using the two clarifiers (or clarifier and tune) or do you need to fit a 10 kc shift on the radio?
Any advice very welcome .
Thank you.
Paul

Me neither, but schematic is clear enough. BC107, 2x resistor and switch.
Could be possible with clarifier mod, but it gonna involve much more work and experience.

No, the shift is only 5khz, clarifier about 800hz. You'll get UKFM alright but not alphas without modding.
The perfect face for radio.
