Been offered a Tristar 777 - apparently in excellent condition. It’s been epromed to uk 40 and is doing 10 w am/fm and 20 usb.
What’s everyone’s opinion on these radios ?

One of the best Cybernets IMO.

The 747 on the other hand...

If you do buy it turn the power down though.

Indeed. It does sound like it's been "tweaked" to the max.

You should be looking for around 5 - 6 watts AM/FM and around 10 - 12 watts peak on SSB.

The current output won't be doing the 1969 any good at all.
Never, ever, ever....bloody anything ever!

Far too many radio's to list here. But I do own a legal one...
