Guess who just bought the new, boxed Fidelity 1000?!?!? Sold a free chainsaw I'd been given at a carboot sale today in Cheddar to fund it, so it didn't really cost me anything. I couldn't have mentally justified it otherwise. Now I finally own another one after 36 years, I can reminisce about how sh** they truly are and have it sat side-by-side with my Cheiza-branded version.

Been selling some unused and faulty stuff on ebay lately and it's just paid for a mint and boxed Grandstand handheld. Put a lower offer in though as the original price was a bit steep.

Going to sell the unboxed pair of them that I have already as I don't need 3 of them!

The thing is there's nobody on now to wipe out all 40 channels.

Jeez...wasn't that the one that was going for about £132 last time I saw it????

I can't say too much though as I've just stumped up £45 incl. P&P for a mint and boxed Fidelity Homebase. Mental I is.

I like your style mate ;)

If I ever came up against the half-a-dozen or so radios I'd REALLY like, I'd do the same. Luckily for my bank manager, most of them probably never went into production.

A new face plate for my Cobra 148GTL from Gammaray graphics. Fits 100% and not expensive.

Indeed. They look to go well being the usual mid block conversion.
