i want a small light for the top of my aerial ,a small one that charges itself off the sun ,as any one seen or know of one ??

A solar-powered "Wally light"???? Never heard of one of those. They usually suck a bit of RF energy when you TX to power the bulb.
Surely it'd have to be so big (being solar) that it'd add instability to the aerial in high winds or if using on a mobile twig?

A midland 13-893, uniden boarded, apparently they’re easy to modify for extra channels, something to do with 858? I read here

No I’m not sure sammy, I’ll have a look when it turns up, mines a 23 channel one, they did a later 40 channel version so maybe that had it,

Well I can't say anything as I bought a Zetagi power mic' a couple of years back for a tenner or so that's got a voice-changer on it that goes lower than Barry White playing Darth Vader and higher than a mouse on sex-changing hormone treatment whilst breathing in helium!

Yeah . That sounds a bit more plausible m8 . I don't think the 858 was ever used in any 23 channel radios ... ?? Saying that , I'm by no means an expert . Anyway . You can let us all know
