a stealth SS360
Lovely radio's. Are you tempted to remove the stealth place?
yes tempted, but im gonna leave it as ive got 6 normal ss360fm’s, nice to see a slightly different facia, its got the jackplug thingy, jackplug in= full multmode, jackplug out= 40 muppet, but theres a mod on the tone switch,
tone high= multimode, but tone lo switches it straight to FM muppets ( just leave jackplug in permanent)
if ya get me

Yes that's how they work. With no jack plug the radio is legal 40 channels with the tone switch simply adjusting the tone hi/low. The mode selector, band selector and the fine and course tune controls are all disabled. Add the jack plug and all the multimode functions are enabled/disabled via the tone switch. Unfortunately this means you're stuck in one tone position for UK and the other for full operation.
Never, ever, ever....bloody anything ever!
Far too many radio's to list here. But I do own a legal one...
So much for me not buying any more stuff for a while ..

Not bought much stuff for a while, but sprung for a little mixer and mike.
It was bundled with some leads, and a footswitch, which is dead simple - just a pair of stainless strips held apart by insulated short bolts. I just use it in my hand. The mixer allows me to easily use either the boom or a headset mike, depending on preference.
Not sure how it makes me sound, but I'll settle for being coherent.

... Got this old girl the other day
Nice looking "CB". First thing to do with these "old girls" is to replace the electrolytic capacitors. Their lifespan has passed. For those willing to do the work and save some money, I have a capacitor kit for the Yaesu FT-757's listed on eBay;
