Can anyone tell me what cybernet ptbm125a4x boarded radios had 3 bands of 40 channels rather than 4 x 50 or 5 x 40?

That solves that mystery then Nick  , I've got a radio here with a cb master 3600 front panel but it isn't a 3600. I thought of a 777 but there's no cw on mine however the controls match up with the late 747 with the fine/course which I've never seen before. shame the fronts been changed at some point as the rest of it is quite tidy as they go

I didn't realise that late 747's had the 125 board.

There is no such thing as a Fidelity 1000 which is too good to scrap.

There was a 747 before the 125 boarded one which had the 121 board with fine and coarse, but the front panel was only marked clarifier.

It stumped me as none of the wiring or controls have been altered and the solder pads where the 4th crystal could fit have never been touched. I didn't know a 120ch version of this board was ever used.
