I spoke to a bloke in Germany who was using a Sirio boomerang with 2 watts power output on FM and was hitting me S9 R5

Doesn't mean I want to rush out and buy one to replace my 5/8 wave with one though.

There is no such thing as a Fidelity 1000 which is too good to scrap.

I have a board similar to that in a Midland 3001 one. When changing channel it announces what channel you are on. These were used by blind operators. Wires are everywhere from it.
I will not be commanded, I will not be controlled.
n+1 the formula for working out how many radios you need with n being the current amount.

But it doesn't matter what channel you are on with a Fidelity 1000. You can hear all of them at once. ;)

That's where I maybe did it right..........I was using a Vortex Quasar Q64 and a Fidelity.......not a Yaesu FT5000 and a Boomerang ;)

I think you should try the Fidelity with a DV27 on a biscuit tin.

What a cracking setup that would be. :D
