It's a very well sorted radio now. My only long standing complaint is that they chose to have a ruddy big channel indicator and a teen weeny frequency readout. Should have been the other way about.

I would pay 200 quid all day long for a very good mk1, but never the 2.And as said still over priced..............................

I wouldn't pay that for a Mk1 either. They are good radios, but not as good as people make out. They have the coverage and the operation of an Amateur set, yet many CB's will beat them on performance. The Mk2 360FM/148GTL-DX, early Dirland 3900's, and especially the PC-999 Grants work much better for instance.
