Mk1 Lincoln power leads

Post by Mudslinger »

Has anyone got a link to where I can buy Lincoln Mk1 power leads for a sensible price?

The cheapest I can find is £9 which is a bit too expensive for what it is. (call me a tight arse if you like) ;)

Well if I have to buy one that is fair enough, but if I could find out what the connector is called I am sure I could buy one and make one up.

I can't believe that type of connector is unique to the Lincoln. I would have expected it to have been used in a few non-CB applications as it doesn't look very special.

Not sure it is worth the hassle though.

Even if a few were made to sell on I doubt there would be much money to be made.

If the leads become unavailable though I am sure this may be helpful. :)

Just on this subject . What AWG is used on the Lincoln power leads ? It looks a heavier gauge than the normal power lead cable .

OK . Thanks Simon . I might buy some and make a few cables up . BTW The crimps you posted are the more expensive gold types . The tin over copper ones are a lot cheaper .

Hi Sammy, I am afraid you are mistaken. From the advert:
