Thank you Claude for this. Could you tell me please which pin which wire is soldered to on the mic socket in relation to the locating notch? I have ordered a new 5 pin mic socket which I will fit as a starting point and go from there.

The pin numbers should be marked on both plug and socket .

Thanks, I must of missed that. I've ordered up a 5 pin mic socket so I'll fit that when it comes and go from there.

I've made significant progress with this radio, I've fitted the 5 pin mic socket and today with the aid of a mate and one of his 5 pin mics, wanted to try before I wired one of mine and then find it didn't work, it did, so with a dummy load and another radio as a monitor went through the band switch positions and this is what we found.
With the switch to the left of the c9 switch up and band position on low, ch1-ch40, 26.965-27405. Mid, 27.415-27855. High, 28.505-28945.
With the switch down, band low, 26.955-27.395. Mid, 27.405-27.845. High, 28.495-28.935.
Some frequencies overlap and the alpha channels are found with the switch in the down position and turning the clarifier anti-clockwise.
The knob below the SWR, S/RF, CAL switch when rotated seems to change the receive tone, almost like a 'notch' control. The Ch9 switch is still Ch9.
Seems like it covers the 11 and 10 meters, when this was done I would not know but possibly many years ago as I seem to remember being told that this was a cheap way of getting 10 meters. At least the radio is now working and I haven't bought a pup.

Looking at your frequencies I think the only thing that has been done to your radio is that the MID band crystal has been changed . I did the same with mine . Originally it would have been on 28.000 on CH1 . I made a handy Excel file to work out the possible frequencies for the 360 with different crystal values and altering the state of pin 10 on the MB8719 . Unfortunately I don't have it with me at the moment .

The LOW band is correct , and the HI band has had it's "cans" adjusted slightly to take it from 28.500 to 28.505 .

Tested out the TX side of this radio today, works a treat, spot on frequency with both course and fine at 12 O'clock from first powering on, the only thing that I have to do now is to see what the power output is, there is a good swing on the signal meter so I'm guessing it's putting out fair power but I'll only know when I put the meter on it.
