President Jackson PA mod

In amongst my collection of scrap rigs I have a Jackson. Had it for many years and never got around to doing it.
Low power output, and I removed the final, an MRF device. (and lost it)
I believe there is a mod for fitting a FET, IRF510 maybe.
Has anybody got that mod?

Fit a 2SC1969 and cross the legs as the pin out is different. you will need to fit an insulator if it does not have one. Less output but will get it working.
