Re: antennas/antennas/what do you use ???
I love my Gainmaster. Excellent SWR from 25.5 to 30.0MHZ. Takes a hammering in the wind but always pops back straight. Plug and play so no farting around trying to get the best SWR and for me it performs better than my old 827. I had a Vector 4000 up for a bit and that was a bit better but the neighbours hated it and wanted to rip it down and shove it somewhere dark Different antennas for different locations I guess but the Gainmaster likes me and I like the Gainmaster

4 Element Yagi @ 50ft over ground.
Why? because it opens and closes the band, works dx that simple verticals can not even detect and had one in use since 2000.
Great dx antenna, it has the added bonus of not receiving the local (Vertical) idiots too well due to cross polarization so it really is a win win for this location.

Oh yeah, I have a 3 element LFA Yagi, which is amazing, but I thought we were willy-waving vertically, not horizontally haha

2 Element Moxon, 2 Element Homebrew Delta Loop, IMAX2K and a Homebrew GM.
Gainmaster beats the IMAX hands down. The Moxon and the Delta loop get run outs every 6 months or so. The Delta loop tunes all the way down to 40m which is nice.

Re: antennas/antennas/what do you use ???
I use a 2 and a 3 element Delta Loop, home made by myself from old iron, old electricity wire fishing rods as there is almost nothing available in this country, the 3 element is about 7 meter from the ground and the 2 element 5 meter, I have no rotor to turn the antenna so I point one to europe and the other one into another direction. Worked around 200 dxcc from here since 2012.
Loops pick up DX easy and the DX last a bit longer when you have loop antenna. Started with a 3 element skypper but have better results with delta loops.

In my experience the Delta Loop is one of the best antennas around, cheap and work a treat.
I will not be commanded, I will not be controlled.

Sirio GPE27 5/8
Wasn't expensive, gets out nicely and takes a battering with no fuss.

There is no such thing as a Fidelity 1000 which is too good to scrap.
