I've been given a couple of Hygain III rigs in a box of bits and I know nothing about them.
Are they any good?
One looks like it's a normal CB whilst the other one has an AM and FM knob and 2 extra switches on the back under the coax connector.

Re: Hygain III
They are ok for an 80 channel AM/FM same/similar guts as the Ham puma/Formac etc, They are not worth alot and are mostly picked up cheap for parts PLLO2A etc, Can have UK40 added but not worth spending the money on.

Re: Hygain III
Thanks both.
Are there 2 versions because one of mine seems to be FM only and the other one AM and FM.

There's quite a few versions, 23/40 channel, AM only, AM/FM, etc. Nice little radio's for what they are.
