A std coffin mike sounds good on the anyclones
Way better than the standard one
But remember pin 4 is live on an anyclone
So before you try a mic from a 148/grant ect make sure the rx wire ain't on pin 4 or pfffft magic smoke

The K-PO NM532 power mic sounds exceptionally well on these radios. Hands and feet above the stock mic.
Never, ever, ever....bloody anything ever!
Far too many radio's to list here. But I do own a legal one...

Re: What mic do you use...
The anytone uses a condensor mic element so if you use a standard coffin mic the small amount of voltage that would normally power the element gets applied to the dynamic element in the coffin mic. That restricts the movement of the coil and makes it less responsive. You get the same issue with newer midlands etc.
I used a sadelta echomaster on mine and it sounded great. As astradyne has already said the K-PO NM532 is a good fit and cheap as well.
