I have a CRT SS6900N which is made in China. It's rock solid on performance and the build quality is fine.

It's very hit and miss with Chinese built radio's though. Some turn out good, some turn out crap. Even from the same production run.

Got fed up buying versions of Grant 2,Lincoln 2,AT 5555/6666 and SS 6900's,and ended up going back to original Lincolns,148 Gtl dx's and many ssb cybernet radios with 120/160 channels..........and for me the newer stuff is ok,apart from the rx signal toiling to reach the far right hand side on the meter, usually have to drive past the locals 20's to hit them end of scale on the 6666 + 9900 V3/5555 V6/6900 V6/Grant 2 Premium, most of these newer radios have no needle on the meter and that is what I prefer, and I dont fancy a Jacko 2.

P.s. The radio from Japan at the time of writing was a 757 GX11.
