Passing a more than slight look to the Albrecht AE6690 comes the Megajet. Made in Korea and not unlike some Maycom bits and pieces, and soon to be followed into the EU with the removal faced radio and rs232 equiped that was here some months ago

Comes with a 3w speaker, electret mike and all new SMD designed board and can make it is rumoured (in prototype 23815-30555 am/fm)
