The V4 onwards were ok. The first three revisions were plagued with issues which were ironed out up to the release of the V4. So it's a good radio. Enjoy.

What were the issues with the versions prior to V4, anyone?

There were serious heat issues, spelling mistake on the front panel (RF Rain), stability issues, signal meter had a mind of its own...
I'm sure others will add to the list.

Hi, Ive had a v3 AT-5555 from new bought from and programmed by Radiozing. Replaced on/off pot broken by my wife.Had contacts all over Europe and the States and Canada with good reports etc using a mobile antenna or a T2LT. Perhaps i am a lucky one as i have no complaints at all about the rig, apart from not enough people on cb/11 meters. When i bought my first rig back in the mid 70s you had a job to get on as it was so busy. Those were the days as many of you know.
