help !

i just had my superstar wired into my car, so i bought a heavy duty power lead.
halfway to wales i lost power, now i assume its the fuse.
can anyone tell me what ampage fuse i should have in there.

same as the old one.....!!!

about 5 amp I think ... always carry a few spares,probably vibration......

use some kit kat foil or a nail,,,,,,,,,,,,and keep a fire extinguisher handy!..........5 amps like the above said.

just been to halfords took out the old fuse (it was only a 2amp) have replaced with 5amps as suggested.

YEP,THATS COOL YOU SORTED IT,2 AMPS?, I THINK STANDARD U.K 40 CHANNEL CB'S USE AT LEAST A 3 AMP,NEVERMIND YOU WERE'NT TO KNOW WHAT FUSE WAS IN THAT HEAVY DUTY POWER LEAD.
