Hi, are you still looking for a dat file? I have one for my 6900N, I am not sure if or how well they work across different radios.

On this note, the software provided is diabolical. No copy / paste / insert functionality. No option to upload values from a CSV file. Tediously, I had to enter the UK muppets in one by one, twice each time. Later realised you can just press delete or backspace when you get to the TX frequency, and it will copy the value from the previous field. Oh and if this wasn't a crap enough process, you cannot use TAB, which to me is instinctive; you have to click to the next row each time.

I've just altered band E on mine, as there was a load of frequencies missing by default (gaps between channels). Again, had to retype all the information below, as there is no way to insert or remove a row. Ten minutes of my time spent doing things the computer would do in nanoseconds!

Good to hear you have got them done,I just sat down and programmed my radio manually it took about a hour to do. Very good and popular radios at the moment plenty are using them in my area and sound very good.

It infuriates me that you can't import a CSV. You can forgive them for not including full Excel style editing ability, but you would do a much better and swifter job in Excel or LibreOffice Calc, and there would be infinitely less chance of human error. I wish Chirp supported these radios.

This is what i like about the yeticom optima, it has a continouos vfo i set it to 5 hz steps so no messing around and with 5 memory channels its easy to get round all the bands,no computer needed..

I have the T5 as memory 1 and Ch19 in normal mode on my 9900,that way when I hit the mem button it will just be like vfo1 and vfo2,easy enough to flick up n down from T5/Ch19 to check the bands for me,as I only listen to CB now.

Paul,I put the radio onto 27.555 usb then pressed mem until display flashed, once it stops I pressed mem and reset the frequency to 27.781.2 fm,so that when I pressed mem it went straight to T5.I only bought the radio from a mate a few week ago to help him out, knowing it would sell easily after a wee shot,I had a 6666 when they came out that I had set up just the same way,and I just left it in frequency mode.
