Hi Tetra,

There's no way I could ever do what they do!
I get three 'Adam's apples' standing on Flamborough Head
The reason that the guys face is 'hidden', is that the video was posted by a friend of the tower climber, and had to be withdrawn because the climber was getting phone calls from other climbers.

Apparently, there are several 'manouvres' shown in the video, which are not 'safe' (seems to me that the whole thing is unsafe).
The companies that do this type of work, are very specialised and are thin on the ground.
Broadcasting companies tend to get a bit twitchy arsed when they think that someone is not following the HSE rules, so the climber could have found himself out of a job, and not able to work in the industry again.

Hello again,
Thanks for your comments...they were interesting!
I only spotted the video clip earlier on this evening..and yes I know exactly what you are saying about the HSE rules and regulations regarding this kind of work and the guy wishing to hide his identity !only understandable in these
extreme working conditions ;)
I get "vertigo" climbing a ladder or even on a "cherry-picker" at work installing/routing overhead cabling  .
It takes a "particular"kind of person with nerves of steel..I reckon to be climbing
these tv/radio antenna masts or even the GSM macrocell lattice towers!
