Hi can anyone help I get a lot of interference on ssb and fm. my car is zafira 1.9cdti. its a clicking sound that changes with engine speed and stops if you take your foot off the pedal for a few seconds. Its not coming threw power cables as I have tried a separate power source. can anybody help. 26tm991.

Probably not, it's coming from the injectors. You may be able to reduce the problem by adding screening and bonding but I've yet to hear of anyone curing it completely unless you want to go to extreme lengths. http://www.amalgamate2000.com/radio-hob ... erence.htm

One thing you can try is to get hold of a ferrite ring, wrap your power cable round it several times and position it as close to where you plug in the power plug to the rig.
