Tango Mike - Regular Group Net - Details

Post by Transmission1 »

Tango Mike is pleased to announce that we have agreed a scheduled net on 27.535 MHz USB every Sunday between 18.30-21.30 UTC (19.30-22.30 BST) for all UK members.

Should this frequency be busy or propagation be too strong then please try to use 26.515 MHz LSB as a secondary frequency. We are also encouraging members with Legal FM radios to use 27.84125 MHz (Channel 25) on the UK frequencies.

It's a great opportunity to try and contact fellow members of the group, especially more so if you are mobile and plan to head off towards the hill tops like quite a number of our dedicated people!

If you manage to make contact with anyone on the net frequency then please do post your comments under this thread so we can see how successful you have been and what distances are achieveable - particularly as we are mainly working flat band with the low conditions of the present time. :D

Got home from work in time for once and tried both 27.535usb & 26.515lsb but no joy. Will keep trying .515lsb for a bit longer as it seems quieter. No Prop as yet though :(
