Electronic QSL Facility
After following the discussions on QSL cards I've had an idea to set up an electronic QSL site for the Tango Mike members. The details have yet to be finalised but it will be based around a gallery system where registered members can upload their QSL for the recipient and they can then go to the website to view or print it. Likewise the contact you have made can then upload their QSL into your area.
I've yet to finalise the workings of the system but will post again once it has been set up. It will be on a dedicated website over at www.tangomike.net - but there's nothing there yet!

RE: Electronic QSL Facility
Thanks, can't wait to get it set up myself!
Still need some help with rules for the Tango Mike DX group if anyone wants to volunteer their help too - I'm trying to develop a mini site for members.

A set of rules sounds like a good idea.
However, the less rules, the less chance of anyone breaking them.

True, I wasn't thinking of anything heavy, just the usual stuff like ... Members are expected to send QSL cards back to those they recieve them from kinda thing! And rules like not running more than 4 Kw power for non DX contacts!

4kW limit on local working!
Does that mean I have to turn my power down?

You will do on Thursday since it's a celebration of 25 Years of Legal CB in the UK!

Technically, it's a celebration of the legalisation of CB in the UK. Not a celebration of legal operating.

Tangomike email
I pose a question, regarding the email re-routing for Tangomike.
We have already established that you can have the format of "[email protected]" and have it re-routed to an account of your choice.
However
What about if you wish to reply/send using the email "[email protected]"
Can, say, Outlook Express be configured so that you can send AND receive replies from your QSL's if you give your tangomike.net address email?
Just a thought, as the DX season appears to have started - from what I gather from Guzzy's forum and the posts on his site.

RE: Tangomike email
Unless you have access to the smtp 'mail out' server, no.
You can configure your email to have the return address as being callsign[at]tangomike[dot]net. This means they if they just hit 'reply' it will be addressed to your tangomike email address, but if they look in the email header they will see where it really originated from.
