OFCOM start issuing M5 Calls again....

Post by MrWeetabix »

Apparently after 17 years, they are now issuing M5 calls again. Suddenly I don't feel so special! :(

The 'M' series callsigns reminds of being called a motorway, or for those that have their asperations a bit higher, part of the intelligence service Mr Bond.

BigPimp will just love this as he is a Fully licenced M5,so he will now get mistaken for being a Foundation Licence holder

No M5 calls are for full licence calls Not foundation. The article is about a guy who passed all 3 levels and requested an M5 call.
So BigPimp will still be held in reverence for his special callsign  :D :D

Possibly, M7 would be a logical choice, but since when has Ofcom or any previous administarion service been logical :D :D
