Alinco DR-605E how to enter PMR446 channels

Can anyone please HELP just bought a alinco dr-605e expanded 2/70 radio which i would like to use for PMR 446 use anyone have ant thoughts as to how to do this ,If anyone can help thanks ..

You can't. No 6.25 tuning step in that rig.

What were you going to do if you had those frequencies available? If you were going to talk to people with proper PMR446 radios, then the deviation, the frequency and CTCSS would have to be set correctly - and you'd still be working illegally, but if you were going to talk to friends over greater distances, then you could go a bit higher or lower and do it, still, of course just as illegally. If you're willing to break the law, that's up to you - but unless you want to speak to people you don't know ..........

Buy PMR radio George. That band is not for transmitting high power from base antennas. Doing that you will be jamming others you don't even hear in a very long range.

Go nuts on 446 George. Every other bugger does.
