Ahhh,,,, yes the 'AD' types used to work with that.... what was the other long range jobbie that with a mahoosive klystron, it was fairly low frequency from what I remember ... something like 500megs... my bleddy memory is terrible.

I worked on type80, 264, 232, AR1 and for its entire lifespan Plessey Watchman.
264 was 600 megs, good for TVI
Type 80 had the Mekon, most scary thing ever as an apprentice
