Tim wrote: 17 Dec 2017, 13:45 Just acquired one of these. Bears the name WM-2000 but also these bear the name Hoxin AV-908 and Avair AV-908. Operator manual covers all controls apart from the small buttons above the VU meter, there's no mention of their operation functions.
Call, VFO, MR and PF are generally used on some of the Kenwood microphones.

Call = tone burst
VFO = VFO
MR= Memory (allows you to scan or select frequencies in memory)
PF = Programmable Function (Again used to assign a function to that button such as reverse repeater)

As new Kenwood AT-230. Wanted one of these for years but could never find a good one at the right price until now. This one is absolutely mint and from the very last production run. :)

Nice find Crusader. A friend of mine has the exact same receiver and with red display too. They are usually green. I've been at him for years to sell it to me! ;)

Wasn't sure where to post these (no funny comments now) so in the end I've plummed for this here thread.

Picked up a pair of these little miniature Bumfengs. Advertised as UHF only but they are in fact, Dual Band. 22 channels and about 1-2 watts output.
I programmed a couple of repeaters and some simplex channels. Local 70cms repeater is loud and clear. Amazing audio for something so small.

:lol: That would be telling pal ;) wrong equipment to be in the Fuhrer's bunker unless he was into collecting RAF radio equipment :)

I just love the WW2 stuff,going to start hoarding it as it is becoming harder to find,especially at reasonable prices & will only increase in value.

Superb! :thumbup:

Well done Shaun. Whst version are those R1155's?
Their colour is different, normally the same as the T1155 you also have. I wonder if they are slightly newer?

Just curious.
