Hi,
I picked up a AKD-2001 cheap today of a charity stall , but no instruction book.
Looked on the web but cant find one online.
Can andbody help ? its one of the early ones (25 not 12.5)

Garex now support the AKD radios and have detailos of the mods to give it ctcss and 12.5KHz channel steps

Picking up bits and pieces of info such as
Readout is in channel numbers, repeater shift is automatic and you can listen on the repeater input by pressing a front-panel button. To access the tone-burst you simply double press the mic PTT button.

You see i have also just bought a 2001 not got it yet but i will need the
same info that you needed
