Special events stations.

Is there any way of setting up a sticky for special events stations where they can be deleted after the event ?
This would stop people needing to plough through pages of out of date info on one one thread to get info on permanent/regular special events stations.
Whilst at the same time allowing one off stations to be listed in one short & relevant thread.
Either that or how about a Special events section, where permanent/regular stations can be made stickies & the newer one off threads will be at the top.
