Ofcom spectrum use.

Post by andy1957 »

Has anyone had any trouble searching for frequencies lately, for the past couple of days everytime I search I get 'Sorry - an error has occurred. Please try again later.' its very frustrating Ive got a bundle of frequencies to checkout and am getting nowhere fast. Am I doing something wrong?. {bnghd}

No, it's just that the OFCOM database was probably written by some student some years ago, and the thought of improving it doesn't occur to them.
It's been a bit dodgy for many years.
KEY : = channel/stud | ~ = CTCSS/DCS | ^ = transmitter site | ¯ = overhead | * = trunked

Hi Andy, would you be willing to share your finds with me? I visit Leeds a bit but never have much time to scan around for something to listen to, im just getting into DMR if you have any DMR hits that would be nice.

Hi, am actually looking at unencrypted tetra but due to my poor aerial set-up its all very weak, hopefully sorting that after xmas, 2 that do bug me though are 456.460 and 456.388.500. I do need to get into Leeds but its a case of sat in a car park with rtl-sdr, laptop and aerial, not practical I know unless santa brings me a Whistler trx-1 ha ha.
