EAST YORKSHIRE LOGGINGS

Post by ANCIENTMARINER »

Hi all,
Put your EY stuff in this box to makes life a little easier.

I notice this week 167.5125 East Yorks Motor Services buses still using this channel and tone 162.2 and 173.8 still in use. Now that Driffield depot is supposed to be closed who is 162.2 now and is Scarborough still on with 218.1 ? 173.8 BTW is Hull Depot.

Alan

I hear 167.5125 very well (Harrogate side). Just punched 173.8 into the Grecom to see if it comes across too.

Try 181.2500, its fenstone and a skip firm in york, more banter than a monty python sketch.
This is the main traffic channel on the ex fleetcomm now london radio networks system.

I get the impression not many people who use radios for business want to sound like a darlek, if you tune in to warter priory they are constantly asking each other what they said and there call sign is funny every one seems to have "warter one one" as there call sign

I agree, I have heard I must admit I find digital a lot harder to understand callsigns myself

Sadly, neither of my scanners go there - there's a gap from 174 to 215.

66.21875MHz its a Ambitalk control channel for East Yorkshire, signal goes for miles, from what i hear they are rolling out across the area as part of a nationwide system.

166.225 and 166.4375 are Ashcourt Aggregates, they are both far too weak for me to attempt to decode i guess they have not got much coverage.
