York station was on the 453Mhz area I dont live near there any more I am way out in strensall now, call signs are Rail 1 2 3 4 etc

not seem them using Kenwoods mate, i've definitely seen them using Motorola gp320s/340s though (east coast staff anyways)

ive yet to take my scanner / baofeng into york but the station should be around 453mhz somewhere, i have heard first busses in york frequencies are further back on this page

Currently sat in the Mail Centre on Leeman Road... Rail Shunters nr the station are moving stock around the place an are using 3/13 on 446.... Class 20 providing the tractive effort....

Yup deffo train shunters on 446... Audio qual was excellent an as i was so close the signal was thundering in... Going back to Mail centre tomor so will take a walk along the platforms n see what they use... Today they were shunting ballast wagons onto 'the centre road' ...

i may pop along to the station sometime soon
although i am not quite sure how to get round to the other side of the station where the goods yard is lol i don't think theres any 'legitimate' access :( although its right on the back of a row of houses so there must be a point where you could observe shall we say :lol: ;)

York hospital still appears to be using 565.525mhz. Caught a burst near Heslington today

Maybe a difo location but having spent the past few days in leeds train station, they still using analog going by the radios "motorola gp340's" (very active as well)

I'm hearing the York buses and council OAP warden service on frequencies listed elsewhere on here. Amazingly, I picked up the wardens loud and clear 12 miles away as the crow flies. A bit of shopwatch from time to time but only reception checks so far.
