Scanning radio frequencies in Yorkshire & Lincolnshire

When a loco or unit has an exam (a service in none railway terms) the NRN radio is tested by calling the remote radio test unit and leaving a message, generally the loco number. The unit then plays the message back confirming that the radio is transmitting and receiving.

I would imagine that the shunting yards would retain these local freqs, no point having them on a national network really :-/
