Gritters 164.725 Turners Hill

Post by Minus1 »

Found some Gritters on 164.725 ~114.8

Haven't figured out exactly what area they cover yet, but transmitter is at Turners Hill, Dudley. (Registered to a radio supply company not the actual user)

Callsign "Gailey Base", so probably Staffordshire Highways.

The Turners Hill transmitter will only cover the South West of Staffordshire, so there must be other transmitters further north.

Only one allocation to "CS Electronics Limited" (supplier) on 164.725, so there must be other frequencies.

This might be one, 165.3

I have 162.5250 - these are gritters covering Stone, Newcastle areas in Staffordshire. No Idea where the transmiter is though.

No problem. I presume its the same gritters on each freq? or different gritters covering different areas?

165.3 is active at the moment. But very scratchy poor signal, considering its from meir heath way. Currently talking about a farm on this freq. Using the same beeps after messages that are used on the 162.525 freq
