Think 5.5Mhz is default for this Frequency range.

Maybe you could confirm which are still active and if they are digital or not.

I live in the West Midlands Wolverhampton, Bilston,

I know that the shop watch frequencies for Biston are 453.600 but do they use aby CTCSS codes at all?
If so what are they?

TIA.

Dont no if anyone is bothered about this fred anymore but I had this issue before in Lincoln.

We worked it out to be a simple voice inversion, as my 888 can listen ok but slightly out. I have not seen if they have moved over to the trunk yet but it prolly be contracted by Miter or Yesway.

Sorry to dig out an old thread, kinda new to this programming thing.

If I want to listen in to the shopwatch chatter, am I supposed to the "Base TX" or the "Base RX" frequency into my radio's RX frequency (Baofeng 888s)?

Yup, I understand this part, but does Base TX refer to the frequency that the base station transmits at (ie I'll have to program that frequency as my RX frequency?), or do I program the "Base RX" as my radio's RX?

Once again, if I want to listen in to the shopwatch, am I supposed to set the "Base TX" or the "Base RX" frequency into my radio's RX frequency or TX frequency?

Thanks in advance

Listen ...turn on your scanner
wait for 45 minutes ...if you can't hear $hit, you are tuned into Jessops, Comet or Woolworths shopwatch
Enjoy !
