Helimed 17

Post by alannah » 25 Aug 2009, 13:15

I was out with my daughters on the weekend in the caerphilly area and my close call scanner picked up Helimed 17 on 169.0875 stating it was landing at the local hospital.

Anyone have any idea why it was using this general frequency as I could not pick up the other side of the conversation ?

yes thats certainly possible, thanks for the suggestion. The other factor may be that the frequency is apparently a St johns ambulance channel so there could be a link there I would think.
