the frequency above is "channel1" medics are "channel 2"

net controller sounds ex-mil

That's what I could hear this morning. Must admit didn't expect it to be in Weston given the signal strength. Few hills to get over before it hits me.

Look at the topography below, i'm on the left and Weston beach is on the right. Just goes to prove that those that claim UHF is purely line of sight are totally wrong.

I wonder how much signal gets reflected off the hills behind me and onto my antenna?
