North wales ambo

HI guys any ideas on North wales ambo and would it be AM or FM....exact location is Rhyl......can get the fire service very well but not managed to find the ambos....any ideas??? thanks in advance

Try searching 166-167mhz with a 12.5k step, Thats the area base transmits.

thanks guys, managed to get that, is there any way to pick up both sides of the conversation as it seems I only get one side?

Not really, only if ambo control set your local mast to talk though, as they use duplex. It's a shame really.

ok thanks delta, looks like north wales fire are going digital soon, is there any way to scan them once they have switched over or is that it then?
