and as per thread get a pic chip done by nick and get him to service it and check it over while its there ....he is more than cheap enough

I've no doubt, If he was round the corner then it would be a no brainer tbh...

It's been a while, but used to Repair/Mod and Align my own... and occasionally others (If they asked nicely) back in the day.

So buying the board/kit from spectrum and fitting it myself still works out cheaper though.

tim is on the money sammy most of the older selectors in unidens run a ncode starting at 15 for ch1 was carried over from the 8719 pll days like the mk1 cobra and mckinley grants ect and they kept it the same on the 145106 like the mk2 cobra jackson ect ...the ss 3900 uses a different mixing system and ncodes 91 for ch1 sounds about right.

Fair enough Chris . For some reason I thought the 15 channel selectors were only on the mk1s . To be honest I've never really done any pll work on the mk2 anyway . When I started messing around with that stuff it was mainly on the Ranger boards , which have the 501 selector fitted which do 91 to 136.
