President james. UK40?

I have got myself a President James as part of a joblot, and it seems to work.

The problem is at the moment it is 6 bands AM/FM and there is no one to talk to...

Does anyone know the code sequence to get it onto UK40? That is assuming it can be done?

President James on UK40 press power on off on again pressing PA and dimmer same time release power keep pressing PA amd dimmer release when code flashes 4 times and goes out press mode press program 4 times then power.

I tried that on mine and found I seemed to need more fingers than I actually had

I gave up and flogged it in the end as to go through all that faffing around, simply wasn't worth the hassle.

I've heard they're a lot worse than the George.

The radio is unlikely to be a keeper but it would be good to try it.
