As the title says, the beam consists of an aluminium ladder, and the radials are made out of copper pipe slid through/held on the rungs, that were insulated using plastic pipe sleeves. One of my mates seen it online and we ( really him ) built it,with not too bad results about 6/7 year ago.If anyone thinks it sounds a bit mad,it was built and sat on top of a transit, with a scaffie pole/drive on plate connected onto the roof rack up Fa'side hill......got a few funny looks with that on the van
Has anyone built a beam using a ladder before ?

Aluminium ladder beam for 27MHz
Plenty are talking worldwide on 27.555 usb,
Some are too far up their own @rse to admit it,
Many happen to know otherwise dx-ing test free,
Showing a complete lack of respect for the law.
