Looking for a 12 pin mic plug
I have had a look on ebay with no exact matches but there again i was only searching "12 pin mic plug", Does anyone know where i can find one ?, I have the original mic but i would like to make an adapter so i can use a standard mic.

I think they used those in early Kenwood Car Audio gear.
Could you not use one of these and snip Pin 13?

I had a quick look at the binatone breaker phone and audioline 342 but the pin layout is different to yours.

though the mike plug looked familar i have a clean 79-900 here it works very well after its warmed up , lack of use i guess shame they werent 80ch and god help having to sort out another mic plug i love the up and down on the radio seems so modern but old lol

When i get chance to play with my own stuff i will be attempting to add a pair of 4008 adders for 80 channel and +10kc, Not sure if it will work yet with the up/dwn rather than a rotary channel switch but no harm trying.
I have given up looking for a plug for now but if anyone stumbles upon one in the future please let me know.

Why not change the entire plug and socket for one that is more easily obtainable?

I had one of those years ago but I don't remember it having all those pins in the mic.
I fitted the MC145106P PLL to it with an EPROM and banded it for 4 bands, what a radio that was.
