I presume you mean a 360FM , and not a 360 ? They're different radios .

Putting it back to standard can be a time consuming job . If the band switch has been done as well then the front of the radio radio will need stripped . Saying that , I usually do that anyway to give the switches a clean at the same time . The mod will need removed . The band switch will need to be opened and moved back to a 3 pos (or replaced) . Then it'll need rewired , and maybe some tracks resoldered . Once complete it'll need a complete retune . I don't know if I'd describe it as a "hard" job , but you need to be competant and know what you're doing .

A few Hz won't really make a noticeable difference on FM mode. If people can hear you clearly and you can hear them it shouldn't be a worry. Also you could just the course tune to bring it on frequency.

If you do need a 3 band switch I have one here from a 360FM I've been breaking for parts.

It was. That was original as supplied; the chip on top of the VCO cover will be marked TBP28L22N. The Hi/Lo switch would switch between UK and multimode.

Some had the TBP28L22N mounted on the back of the mic socket. Still not ideal, but looked tidier.

Yes, later on the radios had to be imported without the code on the chip to do the naughty channels. From memory, the radios were supplied with a replacement chip in a bag, and instructions on what to do to open up the radio. These had the chip in a socket on a piece of stripboard screwed to the mike socket.

I would like one of these with the chip on a socket if anyone has one for sale, but it MUST have the original stealth front.
