CB case respray ?

I have a few old cb radios that really need the cases done. Has anyone resprayed a case ? What would be best to use ? Any advice would be great guys thanks.

i have had a few powdered coated and they look well and a lot tuffer wearing than spray paint.

Satin black spray.

Hi classic it Depends on covers original paint finish you can just strip them down to bare metal and prep /prime/seal/ paint them as any metal car gets repainted .you get the needed supplys at any local auto parts stores if the covers have the old wrinkle plastic coat typepaint you can get online or at any good electronics supply store or hardware store and also check out my /everyone's friend petes video's Google diy automotive school on utubey. There have been quite a few posts about this topic in the past. Have a search for methods, colours used and textures etc.
